Zach has been a Missouri law enforcement officer since 2013 and trained hundreds of recruits as a law enforcement academy instructor and field training officer.  As an instructor, he was focused primarily on Missouri statutory law, use of force justification, firearms use, defensive tactics, report writing, and practical scenario exercises.  He received his JD from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and his MS in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University.  He is working toward completing a PhD in Anthropology with a research focus on violence and policing.  It is Zach's goal to continue serving law enforcement officers with Continuing Law Enforcement Education (CLEE) training needs as well as members of the Missouri community.
